Cheryl Larsen

I found Yoga 23 years ago, or it found me. While suffering with physical and emotional pain, yoga became my relief. I began to move forward with hope and unconditional love of self and accept life as a journey of self discovery.

Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I learned to stay physically fit through a consistent Asana practice, that allowed me to respect the limitations I had. This also helped me to recognize varying poses to help each student with individual needs.

.

I studied Anusara Yoga with a 200 YTT school that focuses on breaking down each pose into individual parts, allowing the body to open and strengthen gracefully.  I recently completed my 500 YTT with the local InTune Yoga school. This amazing well-balanced and blended approach incorporates the Mudra’s, Mantra’s, philosophy, and all forms of Yoga that is best suited for the individual class.

Yoga is a sacred practice of finding one’s true self and being present with gratitude and Joy while learning from life’s journey. I love teaching! And I always feel blessed with every opportunity.
